    Dubai to host Arab human genetics conference

    The third Pan Arab Human Genetics Conference will begin here Saturday, WAM news agency reported.

    The two-day conference will discuss the latest progress in genome research in the Arab region.

    United Arab Emirates (UAE) Health Minister Hanif Hassan will inaugurate the event at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai.

    Representatives of the World Health Organisation will also participate.

    The objective of the conference is to support scientific research and reduce spread of genetic disorders in the Arab region, Najib Al-Khaja, president of the conference, said.
